Member requirements & benefits

Basic requirements of DesignNode Membership:

Membership is by invitation only. Members contribute their knowledge – through one or more of the following:

  • Submit at least one article per year, specific to a DesignNode topic group. Publication is subject to review and approval.
  • Other expertise: peer review of other members’ articles, advice on improving the website, etc.

As the core premise of DesignNode is the global linking of design thinking, I will provide links to Members’ websites on the DesignNode site (unless they prefer not). And I would appreciate reciprocity if possible.

Benefits to DesignNode Members include:

  1. A structured platform to express their views on the future of the profession of architecture and allied built-environment design professions.
  2. First preference for case studies / interviews to be posted on the DesignNode site.
  3. High visibility of your opinions, skills and experience – including optional brief bio, links to social media, contact info; as desired.
  4. Link from articles to Members page and back links to articles from Members page.

Completing your Member Profile

If you are invited to become a DesignNode Member, you will first need to sign up as a User (via the Connect link) if you haven’t already. DesignNode will then set up a Profile page for you to complete, and will advise you when it’s ready for you to complete.

Members have full control over how much of their Member Profile is published and visible.
